This is a dress I bought last month. I really love the detail it has! It adds so much character to it. I tried to let the dress speak for itself and wear minimal jewelry. I usually don't wear heels, but I felt that they went well with this outfit.

However, it's too short for my modesty standards - maybe some leggings would make it appropriate?
I agree leggings would make it more appropriate, and I did consider it. Unfortunately, I talked myself out of wearing them because it was a high 90 degree day where I am.
Next time, I will wear my leggings or choose another dress.
