Babysitting day

A nanny a few days a week for a friend. Normally I try to dress pretty nice, but in outfits that I don't care if I mess up. Which means I'm in jeans and a top. But today I decided I wanted to wear a dress. Obviously it would be stupid to dress up when all I'm doing today is watching kids and cleaning house, so I toned down my sundress with my flats, over sized sweater and a scarf for added warmth. Since after all...it's still pretty chilly out. Spring, are you ever going to come?

Oh, and no jewelry. My little charge is at that stage where he grabs on to everything and pulls hard. I learned my lesson the hard way to not wear large hoop earrings while holding him. Yes, my ear hurt for awhile. hee, hee

I can't get enough of...

...Burt's Bees Radiance Night Creme with royal jelly. I have been using Cliniques three step face cleansing and moisturizing program for over a year now, and I do like it a lot. But last year a friend of mine gave me a Burt's Bees sample pamper set. I used most all of the products in it, but put off using the night creme because I already had all my clinique products that I was using.
And then one magical day a few months ago, I decided my skin needed some extra help, so I started using the night creme.

The difference is amazing! My skin is amazing! I wake up and my skin looks soft, supple and smooth. When I apply it at night, my face feels as though it's being toned just from wearing the cream. Everything feels tighter and healthier and just soft and nice.

It isn't cheap, $18 for a 2oz bottle, but I DEFIANTLY recommend this product to anyone who hasn't tried it before.
I think Wal-mart sells it for only $17...so check it out there if you need a fabulous, good for you, night creme that really does make a difference.

I also have used the day creme, which is fabulous, but I haven't been able to see much of a difference with the day creme, it is just a good moisturizer.

The bridesmaid dress I've worn again and again

We've all heard the bride say, "oh the bridesmaid dresses are wonderful, and you can even wear them again, too!" But we all know that usually isn't the case.

I've only been a bridesmaid once, and am lucky enough to say that my bridesmaid dress is as versatile as it gets.

Playing around with my new fedora

While strolling through the mall the other day I found this hat at Charlotte Russe for $4.99...I'm a sucker for a cute hat and a good deal, so I bought it.

After all, fedora hats look so good with trench coats in the spring!

I already have a gray fedora, so I'm not sure that I needed a black one, but I can't help it.

And no, I did not actually wear these red leather gloves today. A bit too loud for me! I do, however, plan on wearing them with my 3/4 sleeve black sateen trench when the occasion calls for it. Every now and then I like to really stand out in a crowd, even if it is only because I'm wearing elbow length red gloves!
